Tuition 2024 Fall Session I 

30 minute classes

Brava Ensemble $550 per session 2024-2025 season

Intensive Track is full year enrollment (Fall Session I and Winter/Spring Session II and Mini Session)  Tuition will be billed three times a year on May 1,  November 1 and February 1st. Intensive Track students who do not plan to continue for Session II must notify us via email jenny@bravadance.com, prior to November 1st.

Above discounts are given to siblings and single students taking multiple classes, with registrations paid in full by May 15th for Session I and November 15th for Session II.  After May 15th for Session I and November 15th for Session II, multi-class discounts will apply to each student taking multiple classes, rather than each family.

Tuition is based on the school calendar year; Payments reflect the year’s tuition and are not based on the number of classes. 

In the case of a global pandemic or Act of God, the tuition policy of no refunds or credits remains in effect.  Classes will continue virtually if they can not be taught in person at the studio.

You must be registered and tuition paid by August 1st for Session I and by December 1st for Session II in order for ANY discounts to be applied. 

Tuition must be paid before a dancer can attend class.

We accept Master Card, Amex and Visa in person (Brava Dance Center 220 Purchase Street during class sessions and at Brava Pearl street (note office hours) or online via your customer portal.  

There are no refunds or credits.

For Session I, Session II and Mini Session any “late drop” classes are subject to a $100 PER CLASS late drop fee.  A "Late Drop" is when you enroll online, do not send in tuition or inform us immediately, in writing, not to hold a spot for you in the class, and drop the class before classes begin or are a no show.

For Summer Session, late drop fee is $75 per class.

ALL Classes and schedules are subject to change, pending enrollment.

Registration

• All registration is done online. Click here to REGISTER.  There is a $45 non-refundable registration fee charged at the time of registration.
• Tuition is due with registration and is non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be applied to another session.  There is a $45 non-refundable registration fee charged per family at registration (once per dance season).  
• ALL BALANCES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CARD ON FILE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF REGISTRATION UNLESS YOU EMAIL billing@bravadance.com AT REGISTRATION THAT YOU ARE SENDING IN A CHECK.  Checks must be received within 7 days of registration.  A monthly late fee of $50 will be charged if there is any unpaid balance due on your account at any time.

• For students who enroll late in the session, tuition will be reduced by no more than two classes.  
• A late fee of $50 will be charged if tuition is not received by the start of the Session and every month if there is an unpaid balance due on your account.
• You may LOG-IN to your customer portal at any time to check your balance and pay online.

Costume Fees and Media fee
With Winter Spring Session II registration, you will be charged a costume fee for each class you are registered for. For Preschool 4-5 year olds the fee is $75.  For Kindergarten, Petite Ballet and Petite Jazz 1 and 2, the fee is $85.  For all Level 1 and up classes, the fee is $95.  If you take intensive track ballet Level 2, one $95 ballet costume fee will be charged.  Each dancer will be charged a $65 recital fee ($45 per additional dancer in each family) for the Spring Perfomance weekend.  This policy applies to all classes except for Acro, Dance With Me, Creative Movement and Preschool Tap & Ballet 3-4 year old classes, which do not participate in the Spring Performance.  

Spring Performance
Please note our Spring Performance dates and mark your calendars! Most classes will perform in the Brava Dance Center Spring Performance, at The White Plains Performing Arts Center May 17, 18, 19, 2024.  Please reserve May 14-17, 2024 from 4:00-9:00pm for on-stage dress rehearsals. All classes and rehearsals the last 2 weeks leading up to dress rehearsal week are mandatory for participation in the recital! Any dancer who does not attend our on stage dress rehearsal may not perform in the shows. There are no exceptions.

We do not take requests for dress rehearsal scheduling.

If your child cannot participate in the Spring Performance we need to be informed before January 10th, 2024. Unless we hear otherwise, we assume that every dancer will participate in the Spring Performance, and will order costumes and choreograph dances accordingly.

** Mommy & Me, Creative Movement, Preschool Tap/Ballet 3-4 Year old classes and Acro classes do not perform in the Spring Performance**  These classes will have in studio showings when possible, dates TBA.

Absences
There are no refunds given for missed classes.

Refunds will be issued only due to a medical condition. Any refund will include a 20% processing fee. Up to 2 missed classes can be made up until the end of the session, by attending another class of the same level or lower, subject to availability.  No refunds will be given on classes missed due to illness, school holidays, inclement weather, other activities or acts of nature.

Brava Dance Center’s scheduled class cancellation dates are listed on the calendar. In the event of inclement weather you will be notified of cancellations and / or dismissals via email and it will also be posted on the website. Brava Dance Center reserves the right to cancel or combine classes due to number of registrants.

Attendance/Tardiness
Attendance is extremely important in reaching goals as a dancer. Please try not to miss class! If you are injured (i.e. with a pulled muscle) please come to class and observe so that you may familiarize yourself with new technique or choreography. Excessive absences may result in the student being asked to move down a level, or to not participate in the Spring Performance.

Please make every effort to get to class on time. Promptness allows for proper warm-up, to avoid injury. Any student who arrives more than 15 minutes late to class will be asked to observe.

All Intensive Track dancers please refer to your email with requirements and class make up policy.  

Class Etiquette
It is important to be prompt and prepared for class with:
• proper shoes
• proper attire
• hair neatly secured away from their face, in a bun for ballet classes.

Please enter the studios quietly as other classes may be in session upon your arrival

Behavior
Proper behavior in class as well as at any of our Brava Dance studios, is imperative to the learning environment. Students must be respectful of their teacher and their peers so that we may create a nurturing atmosphere. Inappropriate behavior can be cause for suspension or dismissal from the program.

Drop Off / Pick Up
All of our young dancers (Preschool, Kindergarten, Petit Jazz/Ballet 1 and 2) must be escorted in and out of the studios by a caregiver. Please do not drop any young dancer off or ask them to come out to the parking lot to be picked up without supervision. 

Please understand that children are only supervised by Brava Dance, while in the studio, during class time. If a parent or guardian is late picking their child up, students are welcome to observe class quietly until their parent arrives. Please ensure that your child is picked-up promptly at the end of class.  Please do not drop off your child ealier than 5 minutes before class time.  

General Policies
There is no food allowed at Brava Dance studios.
Brava Dance strives to be a NUT FREE studio. Please do not bring peanut or tree nut items into any of our studios.
No dogs or pets of any kind allowed at any of our studios.
